Project |01 C#.Net Rock, Scissors

This is one of my latest projects I have worked on. I developed a Rock, Paper, Scissors Game using C#.Net within Visual Studio C# 2010. I used various different techniques such as OOP and creating a random AI generator.

Project |02 Final Year Project - Network Intrusion Forensics and Detection

Network Intrusion Forensics and Detection. Comparing and contrasting two or more of a widely used open source network intrusion detection systems. Produce rigorous research based on a professional report that evaluates two or more of widely used open source NIDSs.

The 2 IDS Systems I used were Snort and Bro. I used carious test cases such as, pinging from one host machine to another, accessing websites that were restricted and writing my own rules files.

Project |03 IT and Business Web Development System - SILC

Conducted a Business Project in which I designed a dynamic website which was linked to a database and displayed an interactive webpage for the user. It was based on a company called SILC. Languages I used were HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and SQL. I used the HTML and CSS coding for the back-end of the website, PHP for the cookies and basket and Dreamweaver for the front-end. JavaScript was used within the website to design a slideshow that had a countdown timer. The final language used, was a scripting language called SQL, which was used to link the database and to create and run queries.
